Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.40% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 3.77% or 2,980.00 points to trade at 81,980.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) added 3.68% or 540.00 points to end at 15,220.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was up 3.08% or 540.00 points to 18,100.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which fell 1.94% or 300.00 points to trade at 15,200.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) declined 1.69% or 600.00 points to end at 34,900.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) was down 1.34% or 360.00 points to 26,500.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.49% or 1.55 to $320.15 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.35% or 154.00 to hit $11,223.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 17.51 to trade at $2,664.91 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.02% to 4,339.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.76% to 710.78.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 108.50.
